BIDYA CHAKRA SPORTING CLUB ORGANIZED DAY & NIGHT KNOCKOUT FOOTBALL ON SUNDAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 10th August, 2015: Yesterday Bidya Chakra Sporting Club (BCSC) from Bidya Chakra Colony located in SMC Ward No. 44, organized one day (day & night) football tournament. The trophy was named as Narayan Chandra Sarkar Memorial Winners Running Trophy which had a cash reward of Rs- 15,000/-. The runners up trophy in the tournament was called Parimal Saha Memorial Runners Running Trophy with a cash reward of Rs-10,000/-. Another trophy of the tournament was named as Rakhal Chandra Roy Memorial Fair Play Trophy. The Day & Night Knock-Out Football tournament was held last Sunday i.e. 9th August at the Bidya Chakra Sporting Club ground. Mr. Officials present in the occasion was Mr. Shibu Mohanta Game Secretary, BCSC, Mr. Joygopal Roy President of BCSC, Mr. Mani Kundu, Secretary, BCSC and Mr. Mithu Saha, President of TMC Ward Committee Ward No. 44. At the end of the finals Chakramandir of Tiumolpara, Siliguri defeated Baghajatin Mukto Moncho Sporting Club from Baghajatin Colony, Siliguri with 8-7 goals in tie-breaker. The Fair Play trophy went to Mahananda Sporting Club of Siliguri. Man of the match went to Ramesh of Chakramandir.
